Dr Chan Pyae Phyo Aung

Dr Chan Pyae Phyo Aung is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Aung completed his medical education at the University of Medicine 1, Yangon, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2012. To further his expertise, he relocated to Australia and was accepted into the comprehensive four-year Australian General Practice Training programme. During this rigorous training, he gained invaluable experience in rural and remote medicine whilst working at a hospital in Alice Springs. He subsequently refined his clinical skills in general practices across Wagga Wagga and Griffith before establishing his practice on the Gold Coast. Dr Aung is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Aung possesses a broad range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about chronic disease management, including the ongoing care of patients with asthma, heart disease, and diabetes.
