Dr Celine Foote is a highly qualified and dedicated Nephrologist who specialises in Renal Medicine. Reassuring and professional, she is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing kidney disorders. Dr Foote has a particular passion for geriatric nephrology and supportive renal care, focusing on the holistic management of kidney health to improve her patients' quality of life. Her clinical approach prioritises understanding each patient's unique circumstances, ensuring they receive tailored and compassionate treatment.

With extensive expertise in the field of renal health, Dr Foote's clinical interests encompass a wide range of complex conditions. She is highly skilled in managing chronic kidney disease, with a specific focus on supportive renal care, which includes the non-dialysis management of kidney failure, the optimal management of kidney disease symptoms, and advance care planning. Additionally, she has a strong interest in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, helping expectant mothers navigate renal and blood pressure challenges safely. Through her clinical work, she aims to empower patients and their families to make informed decisions regarding their treatment pathways.

Dr Foote completed her medical training at the University of New South Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Class 1 Honours and a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) in 2002. She subsequently obtained a Graduate Diploma in Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology and completed a PhD focusing on geriatric nephrology and supportive renal care. Dr Foote is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Alongside her clinical practice, she is actively involved in medical education and research, holding academic appointments as a Clinical Senior Lecturer and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow, which allows her to contribute to the advancement of renal medicine.
