Dr Catherine Browne

Dr Catherine Browne is a dedicated General Practitioner who is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Growing up in Tasmania, she developed an early fascination with biology and science, which naturally guided her towards a career in medicine. Dr Browne deeply values the opportunity to build long-term, meaningful relationships with her patients and their extended families, supporting them through all stages of life with a compassionate and reassuring approach.

Dr Browne obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and has since pursued further postgraduate training to enhance her clinical expertise. She holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Her diverse medical career has seen her practise in Tasmania, Sydney, and the United Kingdom, allowing her to gain a wealth of international and domestic clinical experience before settling in Brisbane.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Browne has developed key clinical interests in women's health, aged care, paediatrics, and mental health. She is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Outside of her clinical practice, Dr Browne prioritises her own well-being by staying active through cycling, yoga, and walking, and she also delights in cooking for her family and friends.
