Dr Cassandra Worme

Dr Cassandra Worme is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the Bendigo community. With a strong commitment to rural medicine, she focuses on delivering high-quality healthcare that is tailored to the unique needs of her patients. Her reassuring and professional approach ensures that individuals and families receive the support and guidance necessary to manage their health and well-being effectively.

Throughout her career, Dr Worme has developed a particular interest in community health, rural medicine, and cancer care co-ordination. She has previously contributed her clinical expertise as a GP Clinical Director for a regional integrated cancer service, where she worked to enhance collaborative engagement between General Practitioners and oncology services. Her involvement in regional health initiatives, including skin cancer programmes, highlights her dedication to preventative medicine and improving local healthcare outcomes.

Dr Worme completed her medical training at Monash University, graduating in 2010. Having undertaken extensive clinical placements in regional areas during her studies, she developed a deep appreciation for rural healthcare, which ultimately inspired her to return and practise in her home town. She continues to maintain high standards of clinical excellence, staying up to date with the latest advancements in general medicine to provide the best possible care for her patients.
