Dr Caroline Johnson

Dr Caroline Johnson is a dedicated and highly reassuring General Practitioner based in Surrey Hills, Victoria. With a patient-centred approach to healthcare, she focuses on delivering comprehensive and compassionate medical care to individuals and families within the community. Dr Johnson is particularly passionate about mental health care, working collaboratively with her patients to support their emotional and psychological well-being. In addition to her clinical work, Dr Johnson is deeply involved in medical education and research. She serves as an Associate Professor and the Director of Teaching and Learning within the Department of General Practice and Primary Care at the University of Melbourne. As an active researcher and an Associate Investigator with the ALIVE National Centre for Mental Health Research Translation, she contributes significantly to the development of primary mental health care models. Dr Johnson completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has actively contributed to the college through various expert committees.
