Mr Carl Fernandes

Mr Carl Fernandes is a dedicated and highly focused General Practitioner who provides compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages, from young children through to older adults. He is particularly skilled in helping patients navigate complex medical situations, ensuring they receive clear guidance and tailored support. With a reassuring and professional approach, Mr Fernandes is committed to delivering high-quality primary care that prioritises the long-term health and well-being of his patients.

In addition to his broad expertise in family medicine, Mr Fernandes has a strong clinical interest in the detection, prevention, and treatment of skin cancers. Having completed advanced training in skin cancer medicine, he offers thorough skin checks and comprehensive skin cancer management. His clinical focus also extends to the management of headaches within general practice, where he applies evidence-based strategies to help patients find relief and manage their symptoms effectively.

Mr Fernandes completed his medical degree, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). He undertook his medical training in London and completed his postgraduate General Practitioner training scheme in the United Kingdom. Committed to clinical excellence and education, he also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Education, which was awarded with distinction. Mr Fernandes is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the UK. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Member of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd).
