Dr Beverley-Ann Biggs

Dr Beverley-Ann Biggs is an infectious disease physician and public health researcher. They are recognised internationally for their work on maternal and child health, nutrition, and infectious diseases. Their research has taken them to Vietnam and Bangladesh to investigate strategies for the prevention of anaemia and impaired childhood development.

Dr Biggs is also passionate about improving the health outcomes of refugees and immigrants. They lead a programme providing support to general practitioners and other healthcare providers to facilitate the healthy settlement of refugees and immigrants.
