Dr Benjamin Ho

Dr. Benjamin Ho is an Australian-trained Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon with a strong focus on delivering expert and compassionate care across a broad spectrum of neurological and spinal conditions. A Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), Dr. Ho brings extensive international experience from leading centres in Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

He completed an advanced subspecialty fellowship in Functional and Stereotactic Neurosurgery at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital, training under world-renowned neurosurgeon Professor Chris Honey. This specialised training encompassed procedures such as deep brain stimulation and surgical interventions for conditions like Trigeminal Neuralgia.

Dr. Ho holds a Bachelor of Biomedical Science from the University of Melbourne and earned his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Sydney. He currently consults at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Western Hospital, where he manages a range of conditions including brain tumours, pituitary disorders, and complex spinal pathologies.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ho is actively involved in research, teaching, and surgical innovation. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and is involved in the training of medical students and junior doctors. His contributions to the neurosurgical community include work with the Surgical Education and Training Board of Neurosurgery and membership of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Robotic Committee, supporting the development of robotic-assisted surgical techniques.
