Dr Beng Chong

Dr Chong is a haematologist who actively participates in a multidisciplinary cancer care team that coordinates care for individuals with blood cancer.

Dr Chong's research has significantly enhanced the clinical outcomes for individuals with Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT) globally. Their contributions extend to other areas of thrombosis and haemostasis, including Immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), the regulation of platelet production, and Venous thromboembolism (VTE). Dr Chong is dedicated to ensuring that research findings are translated into practical applications to bridge the gap between research and clinical practice.
