Dr Asm Ziaul Hoque

Dr Asm Ziaul Hoque is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Known for his warm empathy and gentle, self-effacing humour, Dr Hoque focuses on building deep, trusting relationships with his patients. Throughout his career, Dr Hoque has gained extensive experience working across various medical settings, including hospitals, community health clinics, and general practices. He has worked in multiple regions across New South Wales, including Newcastle, Tamworth, Armidale, Maitland, Morisset, and the Mid-North Coast. His diverse clinical background also includes experience in general surgery, which enhances his capability in performing minor skin procedures and managing complex patient needs.

Dr Hoque completed his medical degree at Erasmus University in the Netherlands, qualifying in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further support his diverse patient base, he has also obtained a Diploma in Child Health and a Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine. Additionally, he is a registered provider of General Practice-focused psychological strategies.
