Dr Ashley White

Dr Ashley White is a dedicated and highly skilled General Practitioner who has committed his medical career to serving the community on the Sunshine Coast. With a reassuring and patient-centred approach, Dr White provides comprehensive primary care, addressing a diverse range of health concerns for patients of all ages. His practice is built on a foundation of clinical excellence, ensuring that every individual receives personalised and thorough medical attention.

Throughout his career, Dr White has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He is highly proficient in chronic disease management, with a particular focus on supporting patients living with heart disease and diabetes. Additionally, he possesses specialised skills in performing minor surgical procedures, such as the treatment of ingrown toenails and the removal of foreign objects like fishhooks. Dr White is also well-regarded for his expertise in ear health, utilising a binocular operating microscope for precise ear wax removal, foreign body extraction, and the treatment of tropical ear (otitis externa) and middle ear infections. His broad clinical capabilities extend to the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants, as well as providing accredited vaccinations for Yellow Fever and Q Fever.

Dr White obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Queensland, graduating in 1990. Following his graduation, he commenced his clinical training on the Sunshine Coast, gaining invaluable experience in a major regional hospital before transitioning into dedicated General Practice. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general medicine and continuing professional development.
