Dr Ashley Hayes

Dr Ashley Hayes is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. He strongly believes in the importance of establishing strong, collaborative connections with his patients, utilising active listening and open communication to deliver personalised care. His patient-centred approach ensures that individuals feel supported and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Hayes graduated with his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2006. Following his graduation, he gained extensive clinical experience by working in various hospitals across Victoria before completing his specialist General Practice training in early 2013. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Hayes is deeply involved in medical education. He serves as a Senior Medical Educator with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a position as a Lecturer at Deakin University, where he helps train and mentor the next generation of medical professionals.

Throughout his career, Dr Hayes has developed a diverse range of clinical interests. He is particularly passionate about child and adolescent health, chronic disease management, mental health, and palliative care. He also provides specialised antenatal care and is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of fellow healthcare professionals. His broad expertise allows him to address complex medical needs with empathy and clinical excellence.
