Dr Arvind Sharma

Dr. Arvind Sharma is a highly experienced Consultant General Paediatrician with over 40 years of clinical practice across the public and private healthcare sectors. His expertise spans general paediatrics, neonatology, and behavioural and developmental paediatrics, providing comprehensive care to children from birth through to adolescence.

Since 2013, Dr. Sharma has worked as a private general paediatrician, and until 2020, he held multiple senior roles within WA Health and the WA Country Health Service. These included Senior Consultant in Paediatrics, Head of Department, Staff Specialist, and Associate Consultant in General Paediatrics. He also undertook a fellowship in Immunology and Allergy at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Western Australia.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Sharma is deeply committed to medical education. He serves as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the UWA Medical School, University of Western Australia, and is an examiner for the Australian Medical Council (AMC).

Dr. Sharma maintains an evidence-based approach to paediatric care and is a member of several professional bodies, including the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP), the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics (ASDP), the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA), and ADHD WA.

After decades of service in Australia and abroad, Dr. Sharma will be relocating to Sydney, NSW, in early 2025 to continue his practice and be closer to his family.
