Dr Anna Sambell

Dr Anna Sambell is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She is highly regarded for her reassuring approach and her commitment to supporting patients through all stages of life. Dr Sambell values the continuity of care and the broad scope of practice that family medicine offers, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and thorough medical attention.

Dr Sambell completed her medical education at the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2011. To further her expertise in family medicine, she obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), reflecting her advanced training and dedication to paediatric care.

Throughout her career, Dr Sambell has gained diverse clinical experience both locally and internationally. After working as a Junior Doctor, she spent time volunteering in Tanzania, East Africa, where she gained valuable experience in obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatrics. Upon returning to Australia, she completed her specialist General Practice training on the Mid North Coast. Her clinical interests are broad, with a particular focus on women's health, antenatal care, paediatrics, chronic disease management, travel medicine, and emergency medicine.
