Dr Andrew Wong

Dr Andrew Wong is a highly distinguished Consultant Neurologist and Stroke Physician who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients experiencing complex neurological conditions. Known for his reassuring and patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering precise diagnoses and evidence-based management plans. Dr Wong holds several prominent leadership and academic roles, including serving as a Director of Neurology and Stroke at a major public hospital, and has served as the President of both the Australasian Stroke Academy and the Queensland Neurology Society.

Dr Wong completed his medical training in Brisbane, earning his medical degree and a PhD from the University of Queensland, where his doctoral research focused on stroke. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, which marks his high level of specialist expertise.
