Dr Andrew Heredia

Dr Andrew Heredia is a gentle and reassuring Dentist who is dedicated to providing high-quality, ethical dental care. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on ensuring that individuals feel relaxed, safe, and comfortable throughout their dental visits. Dr Heredia strongly believes that dentistry is a unique field of healthcare that utilises preventive regimens to help patients achieve and maintain long-term oral health, beauty, and confidence. His clinical practice spans both general and family dentistry, with a particular focus on aesthetic treatments.

Throughout his career, Dr Heredia has gained extensive experience working across both private and community dental sectors. He has practised in various metropolitan, regional, and rural settings, including community health centres and an Aboriginal co-operative. Beyond his clinical work, he is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. He has supervised graduate Dentists and Oral Health Therapists, taught preclinical sessions at the tertiary level, and volunteered for professional mentoring programmes and community oral health promotion initiatives.

Dr Heredia graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006, obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Science. He is a dedicated member of the Australian Dental Association, having served on its Victorian Branch Council as a liaison between the council and various committees, including those focused on oral health, finance, and risk. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society. He also contributes his time to charitable causes, sitting on the committee of the "Give a Smile" organisation.
