Dr Amila Weerasinghe is a highly accomplished medical professional, boasting a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In addition, Dr Weerasinghe holds a Diploma in Child Health (DCH - Sydney) and a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery. Before transitioning to the role of General Practitioner, Dr Weerasinghe worked as an Admitting Officer and Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department at Goulburn Valley Health.
