Dr Alison Walsh

Dr Alison Walsh is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, family-centred care to patients in Beechworth, Australia. With a deep commitment to supporting families through all stages of life, Dr Walsh has developed a diverse clinical focus that spans general medicine, women's health, and food intolerances. She is particularly renowned for her expertise in breastfeeding medicine, combining her medical background with specialised lactation support to assist mothers and infants.

In addition to her work as a General Practitioner, Dr Walsh is a qualified Lactation Consultant and a Neuroprotective Developmental Care Practitioner. She offers specialised support for a wide range of maternal and infant health concerns, including antenatal preparation, attachment challenges, mastitis, and milk supply issues. To further her dedication to maternal and infant health, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2003 and later completed a Graduate Certificate in Primary Care, alongside accreditation as a Neuroprotective Developmental Care Practitioner.
