Dr Alison O'Connor

Dr Alison O'Connor is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to the Sippy Downs community. She relocated to Australia from Hampshire, England, in April 2014, bringing a wealth of international clinical experience to her practice. Known for her reassuring and professional approach, Dr O'Connor is committed to supporting her patients through all stages of their health journeys, ensuring they receive personalised and high-quality medical care.

With a diverse range of clinical interests, Dr O'Connor has a particular passion for Women's Health. She is highly regarded for her compassionate, one-to-one medical expertise, particularly in guiding women through the various stages of menopause. Beyond her direct clinical work with patients, she is deeply committed to the future of the medical profession, dedicating her time to teaching and mentoring junior doctors.

Dr O'Connor completed her medical training at the University of Liverpool, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1990. Her professional credentials include Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the United Kingdom, as well as being a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in Australia.
