Dr Alison Green

Dr Alison Green was a highly respected and dedicated General Practitioner and GP Obstetrician who served the Wodonga community with distinction. With a career defined by clinical excellence and deep compassion, she was a cornerstone of family medicine in the region. Dr Green was widely recognised for her holistic approach to patient care, supporting individuals and families through all of life's stages with warmth and reassurance.

Specialising in General Practice and obstetrics, Dr Green possessed a wealth of expertise in women's health, pregnancy care, and family planning. She was deeply passionate about maternal and neonatal health, providing comprehensive maternity services to local healthcare networks. Beyond her clinical practice, she was a devoted educator and mentor, playing a pivotal role in training and supervising the next generation of General Practitioners, Medical Students, and GP Obstetric Registrars.

Dr Green completed her medical education with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She further advanced her clinical qualifications by obtaining a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, alongside her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Throughout her distinguished career, she also contributed her leadership to various professional boards and committees, advocating for high standards in rural healthcare and medical education.
