Dr Alicia Chan

Dr Alicia Chan is a highly accomplished clinical and academic Cardiologist based in West Lakes, Australia. With a dedicated focus on improving patient outcomes, Dr Chan specialises in the management of heart failure and the implementation of implantable devices therapy. She also maintains a keen clinical interest in heart disease in women, addressing gender-specific issues in cardiovascular health to provide comprehensive, tailored care for her patients.

Dr Chan graduated with her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Adelaide in 2000. She completed her clinical cardiology training at prominent teaching hospitals in Adelaide before pursuing further advanced training in Edinburgh, Scotland. To further her expertise, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in implantable devices therapy at the University of Calgary in Canada. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) as well as a Fellow of the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ).
