Dr Alice Hawes

Dr Alice Hawes is a dedicated Specialist General Practitioner who is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Her decision to specialise in general practice was inspired by a personal desire to ensure patients have access to a consistent, trusted General Practitioner. Dr Hawes strives to make her patients feel genuinely heard and supported as she works collaboratively with them to achieve their health goals and establish accurate diagnoses.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Hawes provides expert care across all stages of life. Her areas of focus include women's health, children's health, and chronic disease management. She is also highly skilled in performing skin checks, advising on lifestyle modifications, and conducting specialised procedures such as ear microsuction.

Dr Hawes completed her medical studies on the Gold Coast, following the completion of a pharmacy degree in Brisbane. Demonstrating academic excellence, she graduated with first-class honours and was awarded university medals for both of her degrees. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours, a Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Before entering general practice, she gained extensive clinical experience working across various hospital departments, including emergency medicine, surgery, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), obstetrics and gynaecology, mental health, and general medicine.
