Dr Alexandra Romete

Dr Alexandra Romete is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Romete completed her medical education at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași, Romania, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine in 2002. After relocating to Australia, she earned her Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2005. Committed to continuous professional development, she went on to complete a Certificate in Skin Cancer from the Australian College of Skin Cancer Medicine in 2007, followed by a Paediatric Diploma of Child Health through a prominent hospital in Sydney in 2008. Dr Romete achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2009.

Throughout her career, Dr Romete has gained extensive clinical experience across a diverse range of medical fields. During her training, she worked in various metropolitan and regional hospitals across Victoria, gaining valuable expertise in rehabilitation medicine, emergency care, general surgery, general medicine, and cardiology. She also completed a significant portion of her general practice training in a challenging rural environment in East Gippsland. Dr Romete has a particular clinical interest in children's health, dermatology, and women's health, and she enjoys helping her patients manage both acute and chronic conditions.
