Dr Alexandra Dollman

Dr Alexandra Dollman is a highly qualified Specialist Respiratory and Sleep Physician who dedicatedly manages a wide range of lung and sleep disorders. With a patient-centred and reassuring approach, she specialises in diagnosing and treating complex respiratory conditions, sleep-disordered breathing, and respiratory failure. Dr Dollman completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide, qualifying in 2010. She subsequently pursued postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, obtaining a Master of Science in Aviation Medicine from King's College London and a Diploma of Aviation Medicine from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine. Upon returning to Australia, she undertook extensive specialist training in respiratory and sleep medicine across several leading tertiary institutions and sleep clinics. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), reflecting her high standards of clinical expertise and dedication to her field.

Throughout her career, Dr Dollman has gained diverse experience in both clinical practice and research, including conducting respiratory research at a renowned London hospital and completing advanced training in lung transplantation. She has held roles as a Senior Staff Specialist at a major metropolitan hospital and is actively involved in medical education, serving as a Senior Conjoint Lecturer to teach the next generation of medical professionals. Her clinical work includes leading specialised services for complex respiratory failure, particularly for patients with neurodegenerative diseases who require advanced ventilatory support.
