Dr Alexander Gordon

Dr Alexander Gordon is a highly dedicated Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of lung and sleep-related conditions. With a reassuring and evidence-based approach, Dr Gordon focuses on delivering personalised treatment plans that improve his patients' quality of life and long-term respiratory health. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Gordon is actively involved in medical research and education. He serves as a Clinical and Translational Health Research Fellow and a Conjoint Lecturer, contributing to the advancement of respiratory medicine. His current doctoral research focuses on the use of targeted medications to modify the body's immune response in chronic airways diseases. Dr Gordon has a particular clinical interest in managing complex airways diseases, respiratory infections, venous thromboembolism, and all aspects of sleep medicine.

Dr Gordon graduated with his medical degree from the University of Adelaide in 2012. He completed his initial medical internship and residency in South Australia before relocating to New South Wales to undertake basic physician training. He then completed advanced specialty training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at major regional hospitals. Dr Gordon was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2021, reflecting his high standard of clinical expertise and dedication to the field.
