Dr Alan Wallace

Dr Alan Wallace is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a career spanning several decades in both rural and metropolitan settings, Dr Wallace is deeply committed to helping patients take an active interest in their health and well-being. He offers a reassuring and professional approach, ensuring that every individual receives personalised and thorough medical attention. His clinical practice is guided by a strong focus on preventative medicine and building long-term, trusting relationships with his patients.

Dr Wallace completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Medicine alongside a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Following his graduation, he completed his residency training as a Junior Resident Medical Officer at a major hospital in Brisbane, followed by an internal medicine programme at a prominent hospital in Vancouver, Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting his high standards of clinical excellence. Throughout his career, Dr Wallace has made significant contributions to the medical community, serving as the Foundation Chairman of the Faculty of Rural Medicine within the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, as well as a Senior Lecturer in General Practice and a Medical Director for a regional health training unit.

In his clinical practice, Dr Wallace has developed a broad range of expertise across various facets of family medicine. His primary areas of clinical interest include men's health, minor office surgery, and the management of chronic diseases. He is also highly skilled in providing comprehensive health assessments, preventative care, and corporate health services. Dr Wallace has a particular affinity for supporting patients from rural backgrounds and is passionate about mentoring the next generation of Medical Students and Junior Doctors.
