Dr Ala Ismail

Dr Ala Ismail is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical focus, Dr Ismail is committed to supporting patients through all stages of life, offering expert guidance in general medicine, chronic disease management, and preventative health. He is particularly passionate about delivering personalised healthcare solutions that empower individuals to achieve optimal well-being.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Ismail possesses advanced expertise in skin cancer medicine and minor surgical procedures. He holds an advanced certificate in this field, enabling him to perform thorough skin cancer checks and complex skin cancer surgeries, including flaps and skin grafts. His procedural skills also extend to a wide range of minor clinical interventions, such as joint injections, sports injury management, toenail removals, laceration repairs, and foreign body removals.

Dr Ismail completed his medical education at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, graduating with his primary medical degrees. He subsequently undertook residency training in large tertiary hospitals in Dublin, completing a fellowship in surgery. Following this, he completed his family medicine training in the United Kingdom, obtaining membership in the Royal College of General Practitioners. Upon moving to Australia, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His postgraduate qualifications also include a Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
