Dr Ajanta Ghosh

Dr Ajanta Ghosh is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a holistic approach to medicine, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families across all stages of life. Dr Ghosh is a strong advocate for preventative medicine, working closely with her patients to achieve optimal health outcomes. Her clinical focus spans a wide range of general practice services, with particular expertise in women's health, paediatrics, and the management of complex chronic conditions in the ageing population.

Dr Ghosh completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Burdwan. She subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate training in acute and general medical specialties. In 2015, she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Committed to continuous professional development, she also holds a Clinical Certificate in Travel Medicine and a Clinical Certificate in Family Planning, enhancing her ability to deliver specialised care to her patients.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Ghosh is deeply passionate about medical education. She actively contributes to the future of the profession by supervising General Practitioner registrars and university medical students. Additionally, she serves as an official examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her diverse clinical interests include family planning, minor skin surgeries, travel medicine, and pregnancy shared care. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and exploring local parklands.
