Dr Adriane Sinclair

Dr Adriane Sinclair is a highly dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Neurologist who specialises in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a diverse range of neurological conditions. Known for her calm, thorough, and reassuring approach, she prioritises collaborating closely with families and other Healthcare Practitioners to deliver high-quality, individualised care. Her clinical focus encompasses managing complex neurological concerns, ensuring that each young patient receives tailored support to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Dr Sinclair completed her medical degree (MBChB) at the University of Otago in 2003. She subsequently undertook extensive training in Paediatric Neurology through a leading children's hospital network in Sydney, obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Paediatrics and Child Health (Paediatric Neurology) in 2012. Her postgraduate training included a specialised fellowship year in epilepsy at a major paediatric hospital in Sydney, followed by advanced training in paediatric stroke and neurovascular disorders at a renowned children's hospital in Toronto, Canada.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Sinclair is deeply committed to advancing the field of paediatric neurology through research, education, and training. She serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and acts as a Training Supervisor for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr Sinclair is also an active Investigator in national and international clinical research and serves on the Board of Directors of the Australian and New Zealand Child Neurology Society, working continuously to improve neurological services for children.
