Dr Adrian Tchen

Dr Adrian Tchen is a highly qualified Vascular Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of circulatory conditions. He specialises in both open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular procedures, ensuring that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan suited to their individual needs. Dr Tchen completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2010. He subsequently undertook rigorous specialist training in vascular surgery, culminating in his admission as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). In addition to his clinical practice, he is dedicated to medical education and research, serving as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer within the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle. His academic involvement ensures he remains at the forefront of the latest advancements in vascular care.

A key area of clinical interest for Dr Tchen is the multidisciplinary management of complex diabetic foot complications. He has contributed significantly to clinical research evaluating the effectiveness of integrated care models in treating diabetic foot ulcers, aiming to reduce healing times and prevent lower limb amputations.
