Dr Adrian Selim

Dr Adrian Selim is a highly dedicated Clinical Pathologist and Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist who is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and personalised care to his patients. With a focus on both malignant and non-malignant blood disorders, he ensures that each individual receives a tailored management plan designed to meet their unique needs and goals. Dr Selim prioritises clear communication, empathy, and respect, ensuring that patients and their families are fully supported and informed throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Selim completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Bond University in 2009. Following his graduation, he undertook specialist haematology training within a major metropolitan hospital network. To further refine his expertise, he completed a subspecialist fellowship in bone marrow transplantation in the United Kingdom, followed by an inaugural fellowship in cellular therapies in Melbourne. These advanced training programmes provided him with extensive experience in cutting-edge immunotherapies, including chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy, and established a robust foundation in clinical research.

As a dual-qualified specialist, Dr Selim is a Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. He maintains active professional memberships with several prestigious organisations, including the European Haematology Association, the Australasian Lymphoma and Leukaemia Group, and the eviQ Cellular Therapies Reference Committee. His clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of haematological conditions, ranging from acute and chronic leukaemias to complex clotting disorders, where he utilises the latest evidence-based research to deliver high-quality outcomes.
