Dr Adam Jaffe

Dr Adam Jaffe is a Paediatric Respiratory Consultant at Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick. Dr Jaffe specialises in the management of children with chest difficulties such as cough, asthma, chest infections, and uncommon lung disorders, and he has published over a hundred research publications on lung disease in children. He is a member of the Lung Foundation Australia's rare lung disease committee where he works diligently to advocate and improve the treatment and support offered to children and families impacted by lung illness. Dr Jaffe has also been named a 'Lung Health Legend' by the Lung Foundation Australia for his work in supporting children with rare lung disease.

Dr Jaffe gained his MBBS in 1990 before training in both London and Sydney, and he worked as a consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children for five years before returning to Sydney.

He is currently the chairperson of the Aiming for Asthma Improvement in Children Program of the NSW Department of Health as well as the John Beveridge Professor and Head of Paediatrics at the University of New South Wales.
