Dr Adam Gordon

Dr Adam Gordon is a highly dedicated Gastroenterologist and General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a focus on digestive health and general medicine, he is committed to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes in a reassuring and professional environment. His practice encompasses a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders, ensuring that patients receive thorough and compassionate medical attention tailored to their individual needs.

Dr Gordon graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with honours from Monash University in 1997. He subsequently completed his advanced training in gastroenterology in 2006 and went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Monash University in 2009. Demonstrating a strong commitment to professional excellence, he is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGAF). Additionally, he has actively contributed to the medical community, having served as the Chair and Secretary of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) Private Practice Network.

With extensive expertise in both general gastroenterology and hepatology, Dr Gordon has a particular clinical interest in bowel cancer screening. He is a recognised Endoscopist for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and has contributed to national working groups in this field. His clinical practice includes performing essential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy, all of which are recognised by the Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Through these advanced techniques, Dr Gordon focuses on the early detection, prevention, and management of gastrointestinal conditions to support his patients' long-term health.
