He has undertaken further specialised training, including fellowships in foot, ankle, and upper limb surgery in New Zealand, as well as a fellowship in Brisbane in 2013 and a fellowship in trauma and lower limb deformity correction at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in 2015.
