Central Neurology Specialists

Central Neurology Specialists is a neurological practice based in Camperdown, Sydney, providing assessment and management for patients with a broad range of neurological concerns. The practice was established by consultant neurologists Dr Stephen Duma and Dr Julia Thompson, who each worked independently as consultant neurologists for more than a decade before founding the clinic. Their approach includes personalised care, working with patients and their families to develop individual management plans.

The practice manages neurooncology, migraines and complex chronic headaches, neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and seizure disorders, complex movement disorders, Parkinson’s disease including interventional therapies, stroke and transient ischaemic attacks, neuropathy and other nerve disorders and other general neurology. The practice also offers NCS.

Available treatments include botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine and a range of neurological or pain conditions, infusion therapies includign movement diroders therapies, medication management, nerve blocks and other interventional treatments. The clinic also provides NCS, HeartBug ECG monitoring, device education, supportive care and both face-to-face and telehealth consultations.
