Uloma Okwuosa

I've had such a wonderful experience with the remarkable Dr. Uloma. I met her a year ago after going to many different OB-Gynecologists across different hospitals and clinics in the UAE for several years. Before I went for my very first appointment with Dr. Uloma, I looked her up and what she specialized in, one of which included PMDD (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder) which was totally a new thing for me but she was very patient in explaining what it was and even shared some materials for me to go over so I'm well-informed. I was nervous prior to meeting her, but she made me feel so comfortable with her listening ears, compassionate approach, and very humane way of looking at my case. We've tried medications, she suggested physiotherapy, and encouraged me to have a good quality of life through various means. I realized it really mattered to her that I was not only living, but living my best life - she was so instrumental in providing me with the tools of living a better life because I didn't know there were a lot of options and alternatives. Thanks to her, visits to the OB-Gyne became something I looked forward to instead of avoided. I've recommended her to my friends and encouraged my friends who haven't seen an OB-Gyne (due to past negative experiences or horror stories with other doctors). As women, we need to get checked, and we need access to a better life, and one of the first steps is to actually see a specialist who can help us. Thank you, Dr. Uloma!

Consulting with Dr Uloma is probably one of my finest decisions to-date, and needless to say, I had an absolutely outstanding experience with her. I came to Dr Uloma at 37w, and from get-go, she understood my preferences, respected my thoughts, listened patiently to my concerns, and handheld me through everything. As a person she’s really fun to talk to, has a great sense of humour, perfect bedside manners and a very calming personality. I had a rather long labour, which began on a Sunday, with the birth eventually taking place on a Monday. And despite Monday being Dr Uloma’s planned day off, she was at the birth, smiling all the way despite the stresses of the situation. Mine wasn’t the easiest birth, but I didn’t even realise I had a rather bad tear because Dr Uloma was ever the happy face ensuring that my spirits were positive, and that absolutely no tension was transferred to me. She also did a perfect job in stitching me up and checked in with me frequently to ensure I was recovering alright. Dr Uloma is a lovely person, and I believe she genuinely loves what she does, and is true to the people who consult with her. I’m only sorry I didn’t consult with her from the start, but I will remedy that with my future children.

Dr Uloma…I don’t think there are words that give justice to this woman and our experience but we’ll give it a go :) From day one I felt a sense of peace and safety that I pray ALL pregnant women feel when meeting their doctor. It being my first pregnancy, I was overwhelmed and had questions I look back and laugh on today! She was nothing but kind, professional, patient, knowledgeable and above all present throughout my entire pregnancy. My delivery wasn’t the easiest, but knowing I had Dr uloma by my side made me feel fearless. She has a gift. If you’re lucky enough to have her by your side on what is the most magical time of your life, you’ve won the lottery. We love you and we will be back sooner than you know for round two ;)

Dr Uloma has been a Godsend, I was really suffering from menopause and the HRT she prescribed was like magic, I'm back to myself, sleeping, no hot flashes, no more mood swings..sex life back and good. So greatfull. And she was so kind and patient, actually listened..not like others iv seen before. I recommended her to all my friends. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

Dr. Uloma is an incredible, compassionate doctor who genuinely cares for her patients. Being around her brings a sense of calm; she’s patient, attentive, and always makes sure you feel comfortable. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and answers all your questions, so you leave with peace of mind. I usually feel so tense before appointments, but every time I leave her office, I’m smiling. I’m so grateful to have found her—every woman deserves a Dr. Uloma in their life! 😁

Very kind and compassionate Dr I’ve been seeing her since she joined KCH and I can tell she really cares about her patients. Enjoy seeing her and I feel I am in good hands.

Dr Uloma has a very calming and reassuring demeanour. She was able to diagnose my medical issue efficiently and effectively and subsequently prescribe the right course of treatment. Procedures that are otherwise daunting, such as cervical smears, she made them seamless. I required a GA as part of my gynaecological procedure of fibroid and polyp removal and was explained the whole process very clearly from beginning to end. I couldn’t recommend Dr Uloma enough- her bedside manner with patients is amazing, she is super professional and very experienced in her field. thankfully after feeling really poorly for months, I am feeling much better!

Dr Okwuosa is the best, she is professional and kind. I met Dr Okwuosa for a second opinion as I was asked to do an hysteroscopy by an other doctor in a different clinic. After a full check up and an ultra sound exam she informed me that it was absolutely not needed. She won't make you do procedures which are not necessary for the sake of money, she is truly caring about the health and well being of her patients. From now on I will always chose Dr Okwuosa as my gynaecologist.
