Top of his field - literally and metaphorically!

Professor Field is very personable. His explanation of my condition and recommendation as to what my best options are was excellent. His common sense no nonsense approach was exactly what was required. I would have no compunction in recommending him to friends and family.

From the start Prof Field has given me total confidence in the procedure he was to undertake. Since discharge, he has called me twice to ensure all is well. Most impressive.

Right from the first face to face consultation to the follow up checks (by phone or Zoom calls) I have been most impressed with Professor Richard Field and his team at The Lister Hospital. I was treated with due care and respect throughout, and had complete confidence in a successful surgical outcome and attentive post operative care. I am now 16 days post operative, having had a total hip replacement via the anterior approach, and my progress has exceeded my best expectations. I am nearly 74, and have had minimal pain or discomfort. I cannot recommend Professor Richard Field highly enough, and am already looking forward to my skiing holiday next season!
