I had been dealing with ingrown toenails for years and had even had toenail surgery in the U.S., but unfortunately the problem came back and became infected about a month ago. That’s when I started seeing Mr. Patel, and I’m very glad I did. Mr. Patel is extremely professional and clearly very experienced. He mentioned that he has treated tens of thousands of patients with ingrown toenails, and his experience really shows. He first helped me get the infection under control and then performed the toenail surgery successfully. What stood out to me most was how careful and gentle he was throughout the process. For example, when giving the local anaesthetic, he took his time and explained that doing it slowly would help reduce the pain and make the experience more comfortable. It made a noticeable difference compared to my experience in the U.S. I also really appreciated his attention to detail during my follow-up visits. Whenever he needed to get something or move around, he would make sure my toe was properly covered so that the wound was never unnecessarily exposed. These small things showed me that he genuinely cares about his patients and their recovery. He also took the time to answer all my questions and explain the symptoms and procedures in simple terms, making sure I understood what was happening before moving forward. Mr Patel was a brilliant consultant. He was very patient and very thorough and immediately took my issues seriously. From looking at my feet he correctly guessed where I had back problems which wasn’t even what I came in for. So the care was very holistic looking beyond the problem and addressing my whole body. He also did a quick manipulation of my leg which immediately improved my gait and this was before the x-rays and ultrasounds where I’m sure it will be even more thorough. Highly recommend. His bedside manner was also very kind, patient, and explained everything thoroughly.

Mr Patel treated my Morton’s Neuroma with gait analysis, ultrasound scan and new orthotics. They have cured the neuroma but also dramatically improved my posture, balance and gait. He is extremely knowledgeable, intuitive and I cannot recommend him highly enough.
