Mr Johnson Amu is a Consultant Gynaecologist and lead clinician for risk governance in obstetrics and gynaecology at Black pool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Amu specialises in the management of benign gynaecological conditions. He has a particular interest in menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and minimal access surgery.

Mr Amu completed his postgraduate training the North West and became Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Blackpool Teaching Hospital in 2012.

In his leisure time, Mr Amu enjoys listening to music, travelling, and sports. He also volunteers to teach healthcare professionals in Nigeria.

Very happy with my visits. After first visits I have been referred to have blood test and ultrasound. Secretary always responded to my messages. Thank you. Looking forward to next visit.

Mr Amu is very helpful, patient and takes the time to explain possible options. He took the time to listen to my concerns and symptoms and he also took in to consideration my opinion and concerns with regards treatment options. If I had any follow up questions he was happy to see me which was fantastic and really reassuring. I absolutely recommend Mr Amu.

I would highly recommend MR Amu to anyone. He was very knowledgeable kind and approachable during all my consultations. On one occasion I was very anxious about my health , mr amu was quick to get me into his clinic to be seen at very short notice.
