About
Mr Graham Walsh is a highly qualified and specially trained Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working at The Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust.
He qualified at University College Medical School in 1998. He completed his basic and higher surgical training during the Leeds rotation, which allowed him to work with renowned orthopaedic trainers. This training allowed him to develop a specialist interest in knee surgery. To further satisfy his curiosity in knee surgery, he undertook a fellowship in York where he learnt about knee solutions to treat young patients with arthritis.
He was later appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation Trust, with a focus on Revision Knee Surgery. His specialist interest covers knee replacement surgery including; Partial, Total, Day Case and Trumatch surgery. He also offers knee arthroscopy, sports injuries surgery, revision knee surgery and knee instability.
Mr Walsh is also the Chief Clinical Information Officer at the trust and has developed digital pathways for knee surgery. These include a world first, award winning Digital Day Case Knee Replacement pathway using wearable technology to get patients home on the same day as their operation. Giving patients the comfort of having their rehabilitation remotely monitored. A truly Virtual Pathway reducuing the risks from COVID.
