I would like to highlight and bring to your attention the fantastic service that I experienced under Dr Gulati's care. On Monday I, unfortunately, sustained an injury to my left calf and Dr Gulati was the consultant who I would subsequently meet on the following Wednesday to discuss the extent of my injury. Dr Gulati went out of his way to schedule my healthcare around his busy schedule over the next few days and went above and beyond what I'd expect of a doctor. Dr Gulati would arrange appointments for me at short notice, respond to my emails fairly late in the evening (to answer any queries) and contact me on the telephone (after working hours) upon the day of receiving the results of my MRI to briefly advise me of what I had done - no doubt due to my worrying and impatience! Dr Gulati was also very helpful when I requested letters to my airline, that I had requested fairly late in the evening and at short notice. All this again, outside of working hours. Dr Gulati has managed to diagnose my injury within the very short timescale that felt under., as he initially advised me that he would. He has been very helpful and continues to provide me with the utmost care and attention, for which I am most grateful. I continue to be under Dr Gulati's care and look forward to working with Dr Gulati to have my injury healed as soon as possible. Thank you so much.

My visit to the London Independent Hospital (NHS) today was made easy and relaxed thanks to the welcoming and genuinely caring attitude of Mr Gulate the Hip Consultant. I quickly got an instinctive feeling that he was a truly patient-centred professional. He listened carefully as I spoke about the distress I suffer as a result of on-going pain, on which pain killers have no lasting effect. It was obvious that he was analyzing what he was hearing. His responses and questions demonstrated his commitment to understanding fully as well as his determination to probe in depth. I genuinely felt that he understood the intensity of my pain and the fact it increases as I work and walk through each day. His skill and swiftness in diagnosing the root cause of my pain when he engaged in a physical examination left me in awe. He made clear to me that he understood my commitment to the terminally ill and most vulnerable cancer patients in Guys Hospital, and promised that he would do his best to insure that the next stage in my treatment was carried out as soon as his commitments allow. I highly recommend him as a consultant. In my books he is top of the range

Dear Mr Gulati, I am very happy to provide feedback regarding my treatment for my recent right hip replacement by you. I feel I was treated with care, consideration and respect throughout the course of treatment. My initial consultation was on 10/11/18. You outlined your professional experience which I found very reassuring. I was in considerable pain, controlled by medication, at that stage. You asked me whether I wanted the operation before or after Christmas, and I felt very fortunate that I may not have to wait too long. You kindly telephoned me the same day to let me know the x-ray result showed severe arthritis. You arranged for me to have the operation on 20/12/18 and I felt very relieved that I had not had to wait very long, particularly as I had been sent home from work just before that date because I was in so much pain. I was taken to the theatre very soon after admission. You came to see me after the operation and explained it had been successful and showed me a picture of the implant. The dressing to the wound was changed by the nursing staff just before discharge and the following day I developed a local reaction around the edge of the dressing. As you had informed me of your email address my GP encouraged me to contact you, and I was very reassured by your prompt advice that it was more likely to be a local reaction and to treat it with piriton which was very effective. You contacted me 2 days later to inquire how I was. When I saw you on 2/02/19 I was well enough to be discharged. Being a Diabetes Specialist Nurse and having worked in the NHS for a number of years I consider the care and treatment that I received to be of the highest standard. I am really grateful to you. Thank you

I am very happy to supply feedback on my recent treatment for a hip replacement carried out by you in November. All my consultations with you and the surgery I would rate five star - at each stage I felt you gave me time, listening to and answering my concerns. The surgery itself seemed to go well and I feel I have made an excellent recovery without too much discomfort and am very pleased with the overall result so far. And once again thank you very much for all your efforts and skill in alleviating my problem.

I would just like to add my appreciation to the care and advice you provided during my knee consultation and treatment. You were very honest about the findings and the options available to me to make an informed decision. I was happy with the projected plan and advice following the knee treatment without the need for a surgical procedure immediately. I will continue to follow your advice in playing recreational football by strengthening the muscles around the knee, hamstring by swimming, cycling and leg work. It was pleasure speaking to you and being consulted on my knee and hope to see you again on the 11 July 2019 for a follow up

I would like to tell you of my experience in the Homerton Hospital to have a total hip replacement. I had been in agony for months as my husband was dying with Mesothelioma and I was unable to leave him. Sadly he died on August 2nd and only then could I concentrate on my self. I sent Mr Gulati an email almost begging him if he had a cancellation could he think of me. The kindness I received from Mr Gulati was over welming. Such a kind and wonderful man. Thankfully I had my op on November 20th withMr Gulati I was only in hospital 2 and a half days and was walking unaided in a month. The difference Mr Gulati has made in my life at a time when I had lost the man I cherished died after being together for 57 years You can imagine, so I would like to say thank you to that wonderful man.

I am a 56 year old woman. Prior to severe right hip osteoarthritis, I had been very active. Mr Vivek Gulati gave me a total right hip replacement on 16th October 2018. I always felt that I was treated with respect and dignity. My pain was taken very seriously, the condition had made me very anxious and depressed, Mr Gulati understood that while not moving to surgery until other avenues had been appropriately explored. He was excellent at responding to any queries I had and when it was clear that it was time to move to an operation, he acted very promptly even managing to schedule an operation to fit in with my work commitments, no mean feat in the NHS. I was tremendously pleased with the surgery during the operation itself and his aftercare. Nearly three months on, the operation, it seems to me, has been a complete success. I am back in the gym, walking, swimming and cycling. My scar is neat and fading quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Gulati. I am very pleased to have come across him
