Mr Tomkins completed his BSc degree in 1999 at Teesside University and since then, he has worked primarily within the sports medicine and occupational health fields. He is particularly interested in ergonomics and on a corporate level has worked with some of the world's largest companies such as Nissan and PepsiCo. On a personal level he was physiotherapist to the late Sir Bobby Robson and Therapy Direct have been chosen to provide physiotherapy for Take That, The Killers, The Pogues, Adam Lambert, Il Divo, Madness, Biffy Clyro and Bryan Ferry.

With over 15 years of experience, he is continuously developing his skills and updating his treatment techniques by regularly attending post-graduate courses in order to keep up to date with current research and the latest treatment techniques. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, Snow Boarding, Scuba Diving, Trekking and Golf.
