I saw Mr Lee after years of back problems that were starting to severely affect my everyday life. I was unable to walk without excruciating pain which was now non responsive to big amounts of painkillers. After 2 visits to A&E I visited Mr Lee on the recommendation of a neurosurgeon who was familiar with his work. Mr Lee was friendly, thorough and very comforting and from our initial consultation I felt confident that he would be able to help me. Mr Lee was happy to revise the initial procedure plan to suit my changing needs as my condition worsened between my last consultation and my operation. As I got increasingly concerned the day before my operation, Mr Lee took the time to call me and address my concerns, devising a new strategy to tackle my problems. Right to the last minute, the morning of my operation, Mr Lee was happy to alter the procedure plan in order to address symptoms that appeared since our call the evening before. He was calm and confident and he made me feel that he really cared about my case. After the procedure, Mr Lee was very excited that it had gone really well, which made me very hopeful about my recovery. 7 weeks later, my symptoms have more or less completely subsided and I feel confident I will be able to have my old life back. I am so thankful for Mr Lee and the care he provided. He is a great doctor but above all a great person, who really cares. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Lee to anyone who suffers similar spinal problems.
