I knew that I was in need of a total knee replacement and reached out to surgeon friends for recommendations. Rob Gleeson’s name kept coming up as someone who was highly respected by his peers. When I saw him for my initial consultation I was very impressed with his clear and frank explanation of the potential risks and benefits of the procedure. Immediately prior to surgery he took time to again explain what the procedure would involve and how I should approach the recovery. Post operation, he visited me three times to talk through how the operation had gone and answer my questions. Six weeks later I am delighted with the results of the surgery. I am already in a far better position than I was prior to the operation. I am able to take exercise and plan the active holidays that I really enjoy.
