I have been a consultant since 2008.

I have performed 100s of complex cancer operations with excellent results. This is in the field of liver, gallbladder, pancreas and retroperitoneal sarcoma pathology.

I also perform hernia surgery and gallbladder surgery both open and minimally invasive.

I manage patients in terms of irreversible electroporation (IRE), microwave ablation and selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) to treat malignant conditions.

I am part of a wide ranging multi disciplinary team involved in the management of these patients.

I am the Clinical Director of Surgical Services at Newcastle university teaching hospitals foundation trust.

I am well-known regionally and nationally in terms of providing 2nd expert opinions.
