Although I have had the same operation before by Mr Biring it was very reassuring to have the whole operation explained in detail again. His care and consideration made the whole experience much easier. The follow up care was also excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Biring and his team.

Mr Biring was very professional and helped me to relax about my operation as I was very anxious having not had an operation before. Him and his team made me feel very at ease and were very kind to me going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I will always be very grateful to him and his team for being so professional and kind to me.

I found Mr Biring was able to absolutely reassure me that the procedure I was going to undergo was the best and right one for me. I felt I could have complete confidence in him and his team. This was proved to be 100% correct.

I was reasonably relaxed when I went for my first meeting because I have a toughing faith that doctors and consultants know what they are doing. That was reinforced on my first visit when I was made very welcome and I struck up a very quick and relaxed relationship with Mt Biring, a view which was confirmed as the process developed. He made me feel that I had done the work - not him. I am not looking forward to having another knee replaced but should it be so I should be happy to return to the Chiltern and Mr Biring.

I went to see Mr Biring with a knee problem. He reviewed my MRI scan results and then sent me for a weight-bearing X-ray to confirm his diagnosis. This was done within ten minutes and, viewing it on screen together, he explained very clearly the problem with my knee. It was quite plain to see the type of operation I needed and easy to make an informed decision. He explained in simple, easily-understandable terms the recovery process and what I needed to do to speed it up. The operation in the Chiltern Hospital was successful, he visited me every day and I was very well looked after. Less than six months later, I have made a very good recovery, now have no problems walking and going up and down the stairs, and have resumed most of the activities I did before my knee problem. Mr. Biring’s user-friendly, clear and simple explanations were very impressive.

The whole Team were exclent. Mr. Biring was clearly very professional and reassuring. The hip is ok although bursitis remains a painful problem. Mr. Biring was courteous and very friendly.

At my first consultation with Mr Biring he was friendly and informal - this set the tone which continued throughout. The surgery was very successful and left me with a small scar and, most importantly, no pain after living for two years with an arthritic hip. Now - six months after the operation - I am extremely pleased with the outcome and I am most grateful for Mr Biring's skill.

Mr Biring was very good at explaining what was going to happen regarding operation. On day of operation he saw me before and checked I was alright. After operation, he came and saw me and told everything had gone well and gave me some advice about straightening knee and leg. He came and saw me twice more in the time I was in the hospital. He was very pleasant and answered any questions I had regarding what I could do and shouldn't do post op. I had two further consultations following my operation. Again Mr Biring was very friendly and helpful and took X-rays of knee and showed me how well it was going. He gave me some advice going forward which I have adhered to and as of now everything is progressing nicely.

Mr Biring explained everything very well before the surgery and on the day he came to see me before the operation, then afterwards he came to see me and told me how the surgery had gone. He came to see me every day while I was in hospital and was always very courteous and answered any questions I had and always made me feel at ease.

Mr Biring gave me the confidence and trust to undergo a hip replacement. I was somewhat anxious about the operation the recovery and rehabilitation. Mr Biring reassured me by listening to my concerns and expectations and answering my questions in a honest and straightforward way, he has excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner. Following the operation Mr Biring explained exactly what I needed to do in order to have a good recovery. Eight weeks after the surgery I am delighted with the outcome, it has improved the quality of my life and I have been able to resume going to the gym, I am so glad I had it done.
