I am in total awe of this man who successfully and radically created me a new tongue out of my calf! I was treated for tongue cancer 5 weeks ago at Guys hospital and whilst the whole team was integral to ensuring the cancer was cut out the ability to reconstruct a tongue is just astounding. My new tongue, whilst still swollen and a bit hard to control is showing all the signs that my speech and eating will totally return to normal. I had the areola reduction with Dr Orfaniotis, and although it’s only been a month and I am still healing I am really pleased with the results so far. Before the procedure, Dr Orfaniotis took the time to listen to my views about the desired results that I wanted to achieve, answered all of the questions that I had, and made sure that I was fully aware of everything in terms of after care.
