He was patient and kind and answered all my questions, and I felt the consultation was thorough and Dr Andrews was realistic but positive — brilliant expectation management. Most importantly his recovery plan saw me make speedy progress and I was delighted to be able to go back for my follow up appointment not needing crutches or my boot.

Dr Barry Andrews is a great communicator and is very articulate in describing the results of the MRI, what he found when he entered the knee and what work he carried out to improve the knee. I went in for an arthroscopic knee surgery to sew my meniscus but in the end had cutting of the loose meniscus & cartilage as well as micro holes to help regenerate the cartilage. I only had to use crutches for a few days and I was walking like normal after 1 week. Dr Andrews is very kind and professional. I had my surgery on a Friday night and when I left the theatre I was still a bit out of it from the anaesthesia but I messaged him on Saturday morning and he kindly offered to speak during his sons football game to explain what he had done to my knee. Then a week later I had some questions and he quickly replied. Dr Andrews is the guy who will go the extra mile for his patients. Highly recommend.
