Mr. Alistair Myers is a consultant colorectal surgeon with particular expertise in laparoscopic surgery for colon and rectal cancer, surgery for internal and external rectal prolapse, and diverticular disease. In addition, he also undertakes colonoscopy and treats anorectal problems such as haemorrhoids (using suture haemorrhoidopexy procedures to avoid painful excisional surgery), fistula-in-ano, pilonidal disease and fissures. He often performs laparoscopic hernia and gall bladder surgery also.

Mr. Myers trained in central southern England and Western Australia before completing a pelvic floor fellowship in Oxford. He is currently Consultant at The Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals, a post he has held since 2011.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Myers is active in the field of teaching, as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London, as well as being involved in numerous other training and management roles.
