I cannot recommend Elaine Scott highly enough. I had scheduled multiple Obstetrician appointments as it was advised that I should meet several, but the moment I met Miss Scott, I felt instantly that mine and the welfare of my baby were in the best possible hands and that I should look no further. My husband and I had been trying for a baby for 6 years, 4 of those with IVF. My medical notes were vast, from multiple clinics. Watching Miss Scott review these notes during our initial consultation, gleaning and understanding my medical journey within such a short time was so reassuring. I felt that I was been assessed thoroughly and as an individual not as simply a patient. I had complete confidence in her knowledge and professionalism from the outset. I had initially been under the care of the NHS but being an older first time Mum and having a precious IVF baby, for multiple reasons, at 38 weeks I decided to engage a private Obstetrician. My only regret is that I did not find Miss Scott sooner, being cared for by her earlier in my pregnancy would have been vastly beneficial. Even still, In such a short time, the level of trust and confidence my husband and I had in Miss Scott cannot be understated. Miss Scott has a fantastic approach to care, being decisive but patient and kind. She has a great sense of humour and put me at ease during some tense moments. She always took the time to consider my questions and requests, guiding me with total expertise on the best route for the safe delivery of our baby. I was particularly impressed with he postnatal care Miss Scott delivered. She came in to see me regularly after I had given birth including the day of my hospital discharge, despite it being her day off and she and her assistant still check on my welfare now. I also noticed the level of respect the midwives and other hospital care providers had for Miss Scott who is clearly a valued and highly regarded industry professional. I feel so fortunate to have found Miss Scott and would even go as far as to say I enjoyed the delivery of my baby under her supervision. She is an exceptional Obstetrician and I will be eternally grateful for help and support in the perfect delivery of our baby boy.

Elaine Scott is an exceptional Obstetrician. You go to her if you want exemplary care and will only settle for the best. When choosing an Obstetrician you are often advised to meet with several before making your decision, however after meeting Elaine we looked no further, we had found the best. My husband and I were incredibly impressed with Elaine from the outset. My history was not straightforward and our hour long first appointment inevitably ran over, but at no point did we feel we were being rushed or shoehorned in, Elaine took all the time needed. Furthermore, it was immediately apparent that Elaine is meticulous and that she had read all of the information that we had provided to her prior to this consultation. Therefore, when we sat down with her on that first consultation, she knew exactly who we were, what our journey to her had been and what she needed further clarification on, or discussing further to complete her picture of us to her exacting standards. This is not something to be taken for granted, and having sat before many consultants in my time, I am a lot more used to finding that you are lucky if the consultant has read your file before they sit down with you, let alone know your name! Consequently, we left Elaine's office feeling filled with confidence that my miracle pregnancy was going well and we were in the best possible hands. This became even more crucial for us as time progressed, as just days after meeting Elaine we were given the devastating news that my husband had cancer. We would find ourselves running from one pregnancy related appointment to one cancer related one, often arriving at Elaine's office physically and emotionally spent. However, within her walls we were safe and it was clear that Elaine cared deeply, not only for my welfare, but also for that of my husbands. Elaine did everything she possibly could to look after us both, going above and beyond, and with the amazing support of her PA, Pinar, we never had to worry about anything; all appointments, scans etc were all coordinated for us and rearranged if necessary, relieving a great deal of stress. What Elaine will also do is only work with those that match her skill and professionalism, so you know without doubt that the team that she surrounds herself with, and anyone she might refer you to see, will show you the same level of care and attention towards you that she would. Elaine also has a great sense of humour and we had many much-needed laughs with her throughout, we cannot thank her enough for all that she did for us and our daughter and cannot recommend her highly enough.

My experience was excellent- Miss Scott is professional and thorough and I felt fully informed at all times. She made me feel at ease and provided me with detailed medical information and advice. Communication was exceptionally efficient with both Miss Scott and administrative staff. Feedback from tests was timely and advice was easy to follow. All staff were friendly and caring and I was made to feel comfortable during procedures. Highly recommend.

I had great experience with Miss Scott for my first pregnancy. Initially I thought myself was a low risk patient and even doubted whether I should just opt for a mid wife or a consultant, but it turns out it's a great choice to have Miss Scott as my obstetrician. I was half-way into normal delivery and an emergency situation occurred. Miss Scott took very decision decisions and in the end I went through emergency c-section with both mom and baby safe and healthy. At first I didn't even think I would need c-section but Miss Scott insisted walking me through and explaining everything I needed to know beforehand in case of any emergency situation. She was very thorough and patient. In the end it all paid off - the operation went through smoothly with no delay, and I didn't panic at all. In addition, she always double and tripple checked on things to ensure no risk factor was ignored. We absolutely love this altitude. I feel like I can trust her and everything is totally under control. She is also friendly and empathetic, making you feel comfortable all the time.

Dr Scott was amazing. She didn’t pull any punches, didn’t beat around the bush... in sum, she spoke my language! When discussing health care I don’t want things sugar coated, I want things as they are and that was Dr Scott 100%. She made me laugh throughout the entire process (not easy given my needle phobia) and did an amazing job repairing a weird c-section scar while delivering this baby. She was incredibly easy to talk to and made me so relaxed because I knew everything was under control.

My partner and I had a great experience with Miss Scott as our obstetrician for my first pregnancy. Miss Scott was incredibly thorough and clear, and always made sure that we felt comfortable and that all of our questions were answered, every step of the way. Miss Scott always made us feel prioritised and important. Pinar & Ela were also great - they always responded to emails quickly, organised everything in an efficient manner and ensured things ran smoothly on all fronts. Thanks for being such a great team!
